And there are also all the Vortex offerings like the Pok3r, the Race 3, and the Vibe. There are 3 examples of excellent TKL's that will give you more value for programming than the Razer. Void your warranty, but it will allow you to program the board anyway you want. As a bonus, the Masterkeys S is only $80, so you can spend another $40 on The Unloved Bastard Controller. I have yet to figure that one out, but it is just the way it is. Maybe it is the keycaps or way it's built, but it feels great.

But I have a Masterkeys Pro M and I just love typing on it. My daughter loves it and uses it every day at her data entry job.ģ) Cooler Master Masterkeys S PBT - This one has a similar macro system to the Ducky, pain to remove input delays. It was annoying when trying to set a macro on the fly. Downside for me, the macros will ONLY record with the input delay OR the shortest you can get is to hit an extra key to set the min delay.

I have a Full Size Ducky One and I liked it, ended up letting my daughter use that one. My Hassium has a beautiful Krylon Fusion Satin Walnut finish.Ģ) Ducky One TKL - There are many versions, this one I linked has PBT keycaps and RGB and is about the same price as the Razer. Also, the cases on the Francium/Hassium can be removed very easily and be repainted. The Francium can be had for a nice price of $94 right now with Blue or White backlight. I like macros to run instantly, like flash and done. The macros do NOT record your input delay but you can add some if you need. There are some great TKL's if you look.ġ) Deck Francium - The keycaps are thick PBT and feel great, but have a font only a mother would love (but they grew on me). I am simply offering the suggestion that you can do better than the Razer and it is worth your time to research the offerings. still do but have moved on to a Vortex Race 3 with a specially programmed half a Nyquist to it's left.

Then when I have to write code I reprogrammed the F-keys to do complicated tasks like inserting commonly typed strings. I do a lot of data conversion work at my job so need to be able to hit enter, copy, paste with my left hand while I move data around. The way I work is I need to be able to hit ENTER and ESC with my left hand while keeping my right hand on my mouse. I loved how easy it is to program though. Blue or White depending on the board you buy. I replaced it with a Deck Francium and loved it. The Green's have very similar specs to MX/Gateron Blues, but for me did not feel as nice when typing. You have the budget, why not throw that cash at something that will make your job easier? I tried a Razer and had to return it. they just don't bring anything special for programming/typing duties. The Razer is fine, but will bring nothing but a light show to the programming party.
